Blenheim Palace is a monumental country house situated in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, England. It is the principal residence of the Dukes of Marlborough, and the only non-royal non-episcopal country house in England to hold the title of palace. The palace, one of England's largest houses, was built between 1705 and circa 1722. Blenheim Palace was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. (Photo | Chi Hsu)

Acropolis, Athens (1987 inscribed)

The Acropolis of Athens is the most striking and complete ancient Greek monumental complex still existing in our times. It is situated on a hill of average height (156m) that rises in the basin of Athens. Its overall dimensions are approximately 170 by 350m. The hill is rocky and steep on all sides except for the western side, and has an extensive, nearly flat top. 黄山（1990 年被認定）

黃山原名黟山，因峰岩青黑，遙望蒼黛而名。後因傳軒轅黃帝曾在此煉丹成仙，唐玄宗信奉道教，故於天寶六年（公元747年）六月十七日改為「黃山」。明朝旅行家、地理學家徐霞客兩次登臨黃山，讚嘆說：「五嶽歸來不看山，黃山歸來不看嶽」。徐霞客評黃山有「泰岱之雄偉、華山之險峻、衡岳之煙雲、匡廬之飛瀑、雁盪之巧石、峨嵋之清秀」。 Photo | Chi Hsu
